At the risk of sounding very standard, I'll start with this little list to give you an idea of who I am:
(Picture above taken during my 7th month with Nicholas. Sorry, I'm usually the picture taker, not the one in front of the camera, so there aren't many pics of just me.)
10 quick facts about me:
~I have 3 boys- Cameron, Jacob, and Nicholas, and have been married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, Corey, for the last 9 years.
~I'm fairly outgoing and friendly, and I love to meet new people.
~I hate confrontation and I try to avoid it at all costs.
~I'm uber sarcastic and I love making people laugh.
~I suck at the whole "patience" thing- waiting isn't my forte.
~I love the winter, but I hate being cold.
~I love the beach, but I'm not really fond of swimming.
~Give me the money and I can cook anything. ANYTHING.
~I'm a junk food fanatic.
~I love coffee more than a normal person should. I mean, seriously- I'd marry Juan Valdez if he'd have me JUST to have access to his coffee stash.
Writing is a big part of who I am and it always has been. I don't write to please others- I write stuff that entertains ME. If it has the bonus effect of making others laugh or what not, then all the better.
I usually write the way I talk, so if you see a lot of periods, commas, capital letters, dashes or exclamation points, its because -as I'm saying it in my head- it comes out that way in my writing. I'm not exactly always grammatically correct, but if you're reading me expecting perfection, you stumbled upon the wrong blog.
I'm a 30 year old stay at home warden -I mean, mom. My husband and I started off with wanting me to do this so we knew who was raising our kiddos, but its also helped us financially since child care costs can start to add up with 3 kids. I just didn't realize what I was getting myself into until it was too late. Don't get me wrong- I LOVE my job- but, while the rest of the world gets to leave their job to go home, I'm at my job 24-7. Writing keeps me sane.
I'm a major girlie girl, which is why I like to say that God must've been laughing hysterically when he gave me 3 boys. Here I am, loving all things pink and sparkly, and God blesses me with a lifetime of poop jokes and sports/video game chatter.
See what I mean about God laughing?
